The Congress

The annual Sustainability Congress, taking place at the World Conference Center in Bonn, brings together the market players who have made lasting impact on the way to include ethical and environmental strategies into their product portfolios as well as consulting services. With in-depth analysis, open discussions and everyday practice elements, it has become the most successful sustainability conference of the German financial services industry. His actors provide impetus for a viable financial future economy.

Ahead of its time

In 2004, ambitious people from investment companies and banks, pioneers in the field of sustainable investments, have come together, to found the 'Verein zur Förderung des Sustainability Gedankens'. Their goal: to establish Sustainable Investing in the financial sector as a constant. There were already compelling products in the field of sustainable investments, but still little knowledge about this segment. That should change.

Today, ethical and ecological investments are good form and no company can afford to ignore sustainable strategies anymore. The association has withessed and helped shape this development about the years.
Every year the association hosts the Sustainability Congress, an independent forum for companies and individuals who actively want to help shape the further development of sustainable finance.

Any company or person can join the association for the annual subscription of 12 € and therefore support the idea of sustainability.

Sustainability of the Congress was held in 2005 held for the first time.
Organizer of the conference is the Verein zur Förderung des Sustainability Gedankens e.V.

The conference is intended as a B2B event to banks, fund promoters, fund managers, investment banks, financial institutions, financial advisors and opinion leaders from government, academia and the media.

He does not serve the economic profit, but is specifically designed as an independent industry event with that all participants can identify themselves without conflicts of interest.
